About the role

Graduate student role supporting college welfare, discipline, and safety. Junior Deans undertake a range of duties to ensure the college community functions harmoniously, including providing welfare support during emergencies and crises, enforcing college rules and discipline, and supporting lodge staff with safety duties. Approximately 356 hours per term during term time.

What you’ll do

  • Support in medical emergencies and emotional support during crises
  • Closing down unauthorised parties
  • Ensuring members comply with college rules
  • Supporting lodge staff
  • Completing duty rounds

What they’re looking for

Must be a graduate student. Must be mature, responsible, excellent communicators and able to set an example for peers. Must be able to confidently make judgements, unafraid to challenge others, proactive, and able to think on feet.
