Terms
A plain-English agreement for using Pidge.
- What Pidge does
- Pidge helps people find and follow publicly advertised Oxford college opportunities. Search results, summaries and alerts are aids, not offers of employment or professional advice. Always check the official listing before relying on a deadline, requirement or other detail.
- Your account
- Keep access to your sign-in email secure and give us accurate information. Please do not share an account, evade usage limits, interfere with the service or use unpublished automated access. Published agent-facing interfaces may have their own limits and authentication.
- Free and Pidge+
- Free accounts can browse every live opportunity, make a limited number of Instant Searches and complete one complimentary Deep Dive. A failed Deep Dive does not use that complimentary investigation. Pidge+ adds tracked searches, alerts, more Deep Dives and the other features shown when you subscribe. We do not hide opportunity listings behind the paid plan.
- Price and renewal
- Pidge+ costs £5 each month or £50 each year unless Checkout shows a different price before you pay. The amount shown at Checkout includes applicable tax. Stripe handles payment. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period until you cancel it.
- Cancellation
- You can cancel from your Pidge account through Stripe’s billing portal. Your Pidge+ access normally continues until the end of the paid period and you will not be charged again. Permanently deleting your Pidge account cancels the attached membership immediately and removes access immediately.
- Refunds
- If you change your mind, email hello@pidge.watch within 14 days of a payment and we will refund that payment. This policy does not limit any statutory rights you have as a consumer.
- Availability and changes
- Colleges can change or remove their listings, and Pidge can occasionally be late, incomplete or unavailable. We may change features or these terms as the service develops. We will give reasonable notice of a material change that affects an active paid membership.
- Responsibility
- Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded. Otherwise, Pidge is provided without a guarantee that a particular opportunity will be found, remain open or lead to an application or appointment.
- Who we are
- Pidge is a small student-run service made in Oxford. It is independent and is not affiliated with the University of Oxford or any college. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without taking away any mandatory consumer protection that applies where you live.
